I had the honor of serving as the keynote speaker at the Capital Region's inaugural Reentry Resource Fair held at Albany's MVP Arena. This landmark event brought together a diverse group of individuals and organizations dedicated to supporting those transitioning from incarceration back into society. Hosted by the Albany & Rensselaer County re-entry task forces, & Center for Community Justice. It was a powerful experience to witness the collective effort towards fostering hope, opportunity, and second chances.
Sharing My Journey: From Felon to Forbes
As I stood before the audience, I couldn't help but reflect on my own journey. From being labeled a felon to being named one of Forbes' top 1000 entrepreneurs, my path has been anything but conventional. I shared my story with the attendees, emphasizing that transformation is possible with determination, support, and the right resources.
Roadmap to Success™: A Beacon of Hope
During my keynote, I introduced the Roadmap to Success™ program, a comprehensive initiative designed to empower historically underemployed individuals and frontline managers through coaching, career development, and community support. This program is close to my heart because it encapsulates the principles and strategies that helped me turn my life around.
