Trent Griffin-Braaf, was recently the Keynote speaker of a panel discussion on the topic "Breaking Barriers for Returning Citizens: Yes, WIOA Can!". The webinar focused on discussing innovative strategies to engage and support returning citizens to return to the workforce. The panel highlighted programs that assist with the challenges they experience and offer the support required for success. Outreach strategies were also discussed that engage returning citizens post-release to ensure quality jobs are obtained, in turn, reducing recidivism. With over 1200 HR and Work Force Development Leaders from across the nation in attendance, we are grateful to be able to share our experiences and help other organization's through our "ROADMAP TO SUCCESS" program.
